What Facial Products are Good?

I use clean and clear (both the stringent and the cream) daily on my face and it clears up. It takes long to clear up but if you use it daily it clears within a month or weeks depending on the skin type.

I wanted to try Biore exfoliating wipes and strips. The wipes remind me of the Oxy Pads (the round one that had nothing but alachol in it.) and it left burn marks on my face.) though it did the job sorta. I then tried the nose strips. It said on the box it's not just for the nose - anywhere where there is a clocgged pour or a black/white head. I tried that - and it got lots of dirt off the inpact site - although it left a burn mark on the area I concentrated on.

So I was wondering what everyone here uses. I'll probally go back to the clean and clear since I got alot of good results. The cream I use I put on just like a mask - gloop on and wait a certain ammount of time before taking it off - then restringent. This usually decloggs the poor in one week and two to remove the black/white head.

While I can't say if it helps with black or white heads, I've heard that semen is supposed to be a great product to use on your face. Apparently the ancient Japanese used to rub it into their faces to use the protein from it. You don't have to remove it after, just rub it in, and carry on with your chores.

Damn black bird, that was sick!

When I used to do battle with these monsters a good remedy was aloe vera. It's natural and, if you begin developing a pizza face, you won't have to spend hundreds of dollars as do those who search for ever for the one miracle product and never find it. You can buy a plant where ever plants are sold and their easy to keep alive. It'll help you out in the long run too because aloe vera eliminates the chances of scarring. Just be careful; I once knew a girl who had an adverse reaction and rather than clear up her skin, she developed a crater face. She didn't go to school for weeks because of the rash. But I suppose all products carry such riskss. One of my friends used toothpaste but it didn't seem to work at all. I knew another guy who subjected himself to hours in the bathroom with a tooth brush in hand swatting his face with the end of the brush that has a hole to force out the pus. He left the mirror covered in white-yellow goo and came out looking like a boxer. I don't recommend any of these remedies though, they're strictly for the strong.

FURTHER NOTE: Some products one person can use and another will break out in say like a rash... It is a good idea to do a "Test Spot" on your skin ...like say wrist area BEFORE placing on your face...IF a RASH developes on location where you placed product THEN it would be a real good idea to NOT place the product on your face. IF rash developes, then good idea to wash the product tested off as soon as possible. May feel afteraffects for like 30 minutes or so afterwards...IF SEVERE rash or say like an ATTACK/Throat swells shut/breathing difficulities or have questions of the similar THEN Contact your Hospital/Poison Control Center for Allergy reaction. Lion~ THEN there is ALSO DISAPPEARING SHADOW Make-up... a Concealer, of sorts, liken as to a cream base and it is dotted in say under skin of eyes and blended with other cream/liquid type make-up bases. ...Feel free to mail me at our Other Acct. if question(s) you have are ongoing.

Also The REVLON I mentioned...they have really neat Finger Nail Polish...One lite coat of it and it is nice like and doesn't appear to have smudges and no worry on like chips/pealing... just a basic nail polish, not say with all the French White Tips and etc...though those can be nice too...it is just those take like ALOT of consuming time. smiles. talk laters...

Hi!
I use skin care cosmetics daily. I am recently using a day cream b< Oriflame, a night cream by l'oreal and the face gel by Garnier. I've just bought my second tube of lavender hand cream by L'occitane and their honey lip balm. I have many other lip balms at home, for example a few from Labello and Oriflame.
In my makeup collection you can find brands such as Chanel, Clinique, Revlon, Maybelline, Nivea, Max Factor, Isadora ...
I think I'd better stop?
Enjoy!
Aleksandra

I like St. Ives Apricot Scrub blackhead and blemish control. That works the best and since I've been using that I haven't had no skin problems.

For myself I use retin A, you get it with a prescription it comes in the cream and the gel format. I use the gel, I wash my face with plain rubbing alcohol, I let it dry for a few seconds then I apply the Retin A. It's really good and it keeps your skin nice and smooth. Though it may sometimes dry out your skin, you can apply lotion or vasoline once in awhile to moisten your skin but it's really good. I avoid soaps and washcloths because they don't do anything but make acne worse, cause the bacteria from your body gets transferred to your face so I never use washcloths, just plain alcohol on a pad, then retin A that usually keeps my doctor away.

I used to use retenay, but it made my face burn and peal. i looked as if I had gotten a very bad sun burn. What works for some doesn't for others. I am experimenting with one of the brands that bath and body works sells, Patricia Wexler M.D. I may switch to clinique though. I'll get back to you with the results.
